Super-Oversize Seatpost

Dahon bikes all have low frame designs, which require an extra long seatpost to accommodate tall riders. Rather than simply use a standard diameter seatpost with extra thick tubing (which some manufacturers do with obscenely heavy seatposts) we pioneered Super-Oversize 34 mm diameter seatposts. The larger diameter of the tubing dramatically improves strength, allowing us to increase the length of the post without increasing wall thickness.
