All of our aluminum frames with the ViseGrip™ folding mechanism feature this little bit of patented technology that we call the TorsionGroove. It's a small groove that is built into our hinges that prevents torsional twisting of the hinge. Sure it's a small little detail but it lets us increase torsional rigidity without the use of heavier tubing.
