Most traditional bicycle frames have a high step over height. That's not a good thing if you need to get on or off your bike in a hurry, or if you happen to be wearing a dress or skirt, are short in stature, or have an injury. Our GroundFloor frame designs have a very low step-over height: for some models, the step over height is as low as 20 cm. A low step over height means that getting on and off the bike in a hurry is a breeze. The reassuringly low step over height also opens the joys of cycling to people who may have avoided bicycles in the past. We're proud to say that we've received many letters from people with injuries, thanking us for re-opening the door to self-sufficiency.
