1-2-3 Fold

Lower the seat post into the frame.
Fold the handlepost down.
Fold the frame in half.

If it seems like a lot of the folding bikes on the market look and fold a lot like Dahon, you’d be right. Dahon Pioneered the 1-2-3 fold back in the late 70’s with the original Dahon Folder. Today over 95% of the folding bikes on the market use Dahon’s original 123 fold.

The key features of the 1-2-3 fold include:

  • Elongated folding stem – we call it a handlepost.
  • Oversized, elongated seat tube and an offset bottom bracket.

But we haven’t been resting on our laurels for the last 25 years – far from it. Each and every year we develop and refine. We’ve refined the design so that our bicycles fold more easily, quickly, and to a more compact size than just about any other folding bike on the market.
