The purpose of these pages is to help you determine if your 2008 Dahon bicycle is among those affected by this recall and to help you smoothly get a replacement for your affected handle post.
These pages should NOT be used for bicycles that were purchased in the U.S. and Canada.

Models Affected by this Recall
Certain batches of 2008 Model Year: Ciao P8, Curve D3, Curve SL, Glide P8, Jetstream P8, Jetstream XP, Mµ P8, Mµ P24, Mµ SL,Mµ XL Sport, Speed D7, Speed P8, Speed TR, Speed Pro TT, Vitesse D7, Vitesse D7HG sold before April 15th, 2009.
Step 1:
Search for your Serial Number.
Search the serial number database to determine if your bike is included in one of the affected batches.
Step 2:
If affected, print Recall Ticket.
If your serial number is a match then your bike is among those affected by the recall action. A “Recall Repair Ticket” with your information will be generated. You will need to print out this “Recall Repair Ticket” and take it along with your bicycle to a local Dahon dealer.
Step 3:
Contact your Dahon Dealer for repair.
Contact your Dahon Dealer to let them know you have a bicycle affected by the recall and make an appointment to replace your handlepost free of charge.
