Voluntary Recall of Certain 2008 Model Bikes
Dahon and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have jointly announced a voluntarily recall of certain models of 2008 bicycles due to the possibility that the hinge on the handlepost can crack, posing a fall hazard. This recall affects bikes that were sold in and outside the U.S. and Dahon will replace, free of charge, the affected component of such bicycles.

Voluntary Seatpost Bolt Recall
Effective immediately, Dahon is issuing a voluntary recall notice to all owners regarding a potential safety issue with seatpost bolts affecting all 2007 model year Dahon MATRIX, JACK, ESPRESSO, CADENZA, TOURNADO, and SMOOTH HOUND bicycles. It has been determined that the seatpost bolt on some full-size models of Dahon bicycles can break under use and may pose a potential hazard.
