DUARTE, California — January 2002 — We welcomed a lot of new people to the Dahon family in 2001. In fact, our sales were up by 30%. It seems that more and more people are discovering the convenience of a portable bike that can go anywhere. To handle growing demand, we opened two new factories and increased our workforce by 35%. We are off to a booming start in 2002 and it looks like our new 2002 bikes are in higher demand than ever.
