All,

Just before I put it on ebay I just wanted to see if anyone here is interested in a Dahon Speed TR 2008 bike. It is in fantastic condition and I have barely done 100 miles on it. Has a few knocks (slight scratches on the handlebars, hardly noticeable but just wanted to point out everything) where I have taken it on and off the train but apart from that it is in fantastic condition. I also have the El Bolso bag.

I have seen the Speed TR go for £500 on ebay but I am willing to accept anything close to £450. I work in London and live in Bedford so can meet up around these two areas if anyone is interested.

My email address is cjstanhope@googlemail.com if you want me to send you some pictures.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Chain Ring Swap - 40 Tooth For 52 Tooth

Hello all. The original owner of my 2005 Jetstream P8 had the dealer swap out the original 52 tooth chain ring for a 40 tooth one. This lowered the gearing by about 20%.

Savannah is very very flat and I really don't need the gearing that low. Is anyone interested in swapping a 52 tooth chainring for a 40 tooth?

Or does anyone have a 52 tooth chainring they would like to sell?

Shimano Sh-70, Sh-71 Cleats Wanted

I just picked up at a garage sale Shimano 6500 Ultegra SPD road pedals for my new road bike and was wondering if anybody had any cleats (SH-70 or SH-71 cleats) kicking around in a box or drawer that they would like to recycle. I know I can get them online at several stores but was just looking for a fellow Dahon rider who would pay it forward and donate. i am willing to pay for postage of couse but I know pedal heads and we all have boxes of stuff lying around.

Shimano actually made different cleats for these pedals and some say that the mtb cleat will fit some say it's a gamble.

Who knows, one day I might pay it forward and send off my suntour folding pedals (brand new) to some in -need dahon owner...

Thanks

Michael

[sold] Schwalbe Marathon Supreme 20x1.6 - Folding (pair) Price Reduced

Hi,

I am selling a pair of lightly used Schwalbe Marathon Supreme 20x1.6 - Folding tires, w/ reflective strips.

They have less than 300 miles on them. I bought them in April '09 to upgrade the ride of my Dahon. They ride really nicely. But I ended up buying a full-size hybrid to replace my 2004 Speed P8 for longer commutes. I haven't used my Dahon in the past month at all! So since my Dahon is my spare bike now, I am hoping to sell off some extras to fund upgrades for my new hybrid.

These tires are in fairly new condition, no rips, no flats from them yet.

I paid $109 + $9 shipping. I am hoping to get $70 + $8 shipping (you can also pick it up at my place in Oakland)

That's 64% of new price, and people get 3,000+ miles out of this durable, puncture resistant tires.

Thanks,
Donna
