Next to the frame, wheels are the most important part of a bike and we’ve spent years optimizing our wheels. Kinetix Comp wheels are strong, fast, light and durable - everything you want in a wheel set. The front wheel is built around the Kinetix Neutron hub: it features cartridge bearings for durability and ultra low rolling resistance and at 54 grams is the lightest production hub on the market. The hub also features a 74mm OLD which optimizes spoke angles for maximum wheel strength when building smaller 20” wheels. 20” wheels built around standard 100mm OLD hubs compromise strength and durability. The front wheel is laced up with quality stainless spokes to a Kinetix Aero rim, which features a CNC machined braking surface, double walls, and a safety wear line so you know when to replace the rim. The rear wheel features the same quality components with 2 cross spoke lacing on the rear drive side and radial spoke lacing on the non-drive side. Usually, dished wheels have unbalanced spoke tension which leads to compromised durability but with our unique spoke lacing, we end up with balanced spoke tensions and a stronger wheel.
