The perfect protection for a Dahon when you are off to a new destination. The Airporter II is a semi hard-sided suitcase with plenty of protective internal padding.

Fits the Flō or Tournado.

Shimano’s Alfine internal gear hub gives you silky smooth shifting without the fuss and hassle of a noisy derailleur. The Alfine’s double roller clutch engagement mechanism allows for smooth, quiet shifting. With all the gears and shifting mechanism tucked away inside the hub, protected against the elements, the Alfine internal gear hub needs very little maintenance, leaving you to concentrate on the most important thing, riding.

Component

By grinding the sidewall of a rim, you get a more uniform braking surface with a lot more surface area. The result: better braking in all conditions. Perfect for those cold rainy rides when your hands are a little stiff but you need to stop FAST.

American Classic makes some of the most exquisitely light and well engineered hubs available. American Classic hubs are lighter than DuraAce, Record, or XTR and are used by many top racers and pro teams around the world. On its rear hubs, American Classic uses a patented six-pawl cassette mechanism that makes it stronger than traditional cassettes. A set of American Classic road hubs retails for US$325; disc hubs retail for US$370. We love these hubs because they are so fast and light!! Upgraded for 2008 with stainless steel cartridge bearings for improved durability.

Avid’s BB disc brakes are universally acknowledged as among the best disc brakes available, at any price. We’ve selected Avid’s mechanical BB disc brakes over Avid’s hydraulic offerings for a number reasons, not the least because we’ve tested just about every disc brake out there and we keep coming back to the BB7 for our own personal bikes. First, the BB7 offers best-in-class adjustability for those customers who hate disc drag and squealing as much as we do. Second, Dahon bikes are built for travel and bikes with hydraulic brake fluid have been banned by some airlines.

Avid’s FR5 brake levers are ultra light and exceptionally stiff. They deliver excellent modulation and single finger braking power.

Component

Brake levers transfer the force of your hand into stopping power at the brakes, so properly adjusted and tuned break levers are important. Too much force can cause your wheels to freeze up while too little won’t be able to stop you. Avid Speed Dial 7 break levers give you great stopping power while allowing easy fine adjustment of braking behavior. With the simple turn of a knob, the Speed Dial adjustment feature allows you to adjust and customize braking feel and strength according to your riding style.

The BioLogic™ AirFlo is an ergonomic saddle designed for comfort. The Mojo Groove, a long central channel, eliminates pressure on soft tissues that normally hurt after a long ride. The wider rear provides excellent support for your “sit” bones. An air scoop on the underside of the saddle channels air into the Mojo Groove to keep you cool and dry on long rides. High-density foam and a proprietary DuraSoft cover with built in stretch will make you wonder why all saddles aren't this comfortable.

Component

The sleek new BioLogic Aria is one of the most comfortable performance-oriented saddles we’ve ridden. It has enough padding for comfort, but not so much that it will restrict movement or cut off blood flow over longer rides.

Component

The BioLogic Como saddle is a wide, well-padded saddle designed for cyclists who prefer a more upright riding position. High quality PU foam delivers excellent comfort.
