The UpRide frame geometry puts your body in a relaxed upright position – like you are walking, just a lot faster. For 2010, we’ve added the adjustable Dahon Andros stem which lets you choose your exact riding position. You’ve never ridden a smoother, more comfortable bike. The distinctively classic Smooth Hound has been reincarnated with LockJaw hinges for fast and convenient folding. The Smooth Hound adapts readily to casual city cruising or serious weekend touring, however you want to ride. The Dahon Axis stem adjusts for height and reach so you can sit high and see over traffic on weekday commutes, or go low when you are heading into the wind on a 100 mile day. The BioLogic Handlebar offers multiple hand positions. Classic touches include Shimano Ultegra Barcon shifters and a hand-made Brooks Champion leather saddle in a custom antique brown color that will mold to your body and get better looking the longer you ride it. Urban style at its functional best.
