  • Riding from the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela
  • Going uphill, going fast, and going long
  • Fully-loaded touring

The all-day, all-weather, all-roads, travel bike. The Tournado is a hand-made, lugged steel touring bike that celebrates classical frame geometries and component designs. In true hand-made tradition, each frame is painstakingly welded and brazed from Tange Prestige tubes. The result is a superbly balanced, supple ride that will deliver mile after mile of smiles and still packs easily into a suitcase for your next adventure.

  • Ten to fifteen minutes is all it takes to pack it down into a small suitcase for easy airline travel
  • Frame geometry features a taller head tube and longer wheel base for more comfort and stability on long tours
  • A Brooks Champion saddle in a Dahon custom antique brown and lusciously rich Brooks leather bar tape highlight the carefully selected list of components
  • Shimano Ultegra 27 speed drive train with barcon shifters – a 9 speed drivetrain is simpler and easier to repair in the field
  • American Classic high flange hubs are fitted with smooth-rolling stainless steel cartridge bearings
  • Braze-ons for fenders and front and rear racks. Fits tires of up to 700×40C with fenders
