What happens when you take the award-winning Ciao! frame platform, fit it with our Deluxe component package, and add a custom made-for-Dahon five-speed hub? You get an economical Ciao! that is priced to move. The Ciao! D5 features a super low-step frame that is perfect for riders new to cycling or those with injuries that can’t ride a bike with a high top tube. The custom Sturmey-Archer five-speed hub delivers the same gear range as a Nexus 7, but without the cost or weight. Fitted with optional rack and mudguards, it becomes the perfect town bike.

  • Folds fast in less than 15 seconds without lifting the bike
  • Luggage socket on the head tube allows the attachment of a variety of bags and baskets from Dahon, KlickFix, Ortlieb and others
  • BioLogic PostPump: a high capacity bicycle pump integrated into the seatpost
  • Low maintenance Sturmey-Archer gear hub weighs little more than a three-speed hub but has the same gear range as a Shimano Nexus 7
